The Five Stages of Grief - dealing with a break up

As you will know by now I am no longer a bride to be, but me and the ex H2B are getting along well and working together to get through it!

So if like me you are dealing with the break down of a long term serious relationship, here are the five stages you need to be aware of (so you don't think you are going crazy).  Take a deep breath, its going to be okay in the end, and you should talk about how you feel dealing with the emotions is the best way to get through it and come out good on the other side!

Denial (They can’t  be gone) - according to Wiki: simple denial - deny the reality of the unpleasant fact altogether

Anger (I can’t believe they gone and left me or why has God taken them) - Anger is an emotion related to one's psychological interpretation of having been offended, wronged or denied and a tendency to undo that by retaliation.

Bargaining (If only I...) - Bargaining or haggling is a type of negotiation in which the buyer and seller of a good or service dispute the price which will be paid and the exact nature of the transaction that will take place, and eventually come to an agreement.

Depression (What is the point of carrying on?) - Depression is a state of low mood and aversion to activity that can affect a person's thoughts, behavior, feelings and physical well-being.[1] It may include feelings of sadness, anxiety, emptiness, hopelessness, worthlessness, guilt, irritability, or restlessness.

Acceptance (I’ve lost someone I love but I know I can move on) - Acceptance is a person's agreement to experience a situation, to follow a process or condition (often a negative or uncomfortable situation) without attempting to change it, protest, or exit.

* Its been 9 weeks since me and H2B went our separate ways, I am now at the beginning of stage 4

Lay Me Down Softly Review

Last night I went to see Lay Me Down Softly with my ex MOH at the Tricycle Theatre in London.

Well firstly I was shocked to find the Tricycle Theatre is in no mans land of Kilburn North West London and it took us 20 mins to walk there from the tube!

The theatre itself is very cute, has a cinema and a gallery.

What to say about the play...It was, hmm, I am not sure.  All the reviews I have seen so far loved this play... set in 1960's Ireland - I group of travellers.  I found it a little disappointing, I couldn't follow the plot and it seemed to be missing any real substance, and the jokes went right over my head.  Perhaps this is just me though...

All in all a good night.  2 out of 5 for stars.
