The Mrs Box!

I found a picture of these before I even knew what they were and added it to my wedding Pinterest page... several months later I am finally the owner of my very own The Mrs Box.

A small but perfectly formed vintage velvet ring box... and they are all limited edition due to the French velvet used to make each one.

Wedding House Party

Wedding house party... what is this!  Well I've seen a few lovely venues offer 'sleepovers' the night before the big day, specially venues you hire as a whole.

Have private'adult' boys/girls sleep over!  This lead me to thinking, if we get married and aren't inviting family, would I just love a big house party?

* Hire a large manor house in the country for the weekend (Fri - Mon)
* Hire a local venue for the wedding (hotel / church / registry office)
* Wedding breakfast at a local hotel / restaurant or hire caters to provide it at the house
* Ask your guests to arrive either the night before or on the day (they'll only need to cover their travel costs)
* Use a local supermarket to order food/drink and have it delivered to the house

Cheap / fun and a cool alternative wedding party!

Tulle Wedding Dresses - Grown Up tutus!

So also big love for tulle dresses at the mo... thinking this will be my look for our formal 'family friendly' engagement party!  Very Carrie Bradshaw.  Might also put the bridesmaid in something similar for the big day...

Keira Knightly - Wedding

Carrie Bradshaw - Sex in the City

Sequin Wedding Dresses - shine like a star!

I just love long sequin dresses for the big day at the moment, they are a little bit different, give a great silhouette and just BOOM all eyes are on you.  A must have I reckon for not so weddingy weddings!

Plus you can buy them from most high street stores, or prom shop and get them at a cheaper price as the word wedding isn't necessarily attached.

Maybe try a different colour too...
