I don't like to leave anyone out here at Your Wedding Support... so naked weddings are the next theme we are tackling!

Really there isn't much you need to do with this one, and will definitely save you a few pounds.  No need to worry about wedding dresses or suits... and you could extend the theme to naked themed decorations, naked people cake toppers... Naked brand products for favours!

This is definitely an idea that hasn't been over done, but needs to be tasteful.

GET THE LOOK - Afternoon Tea Themed Wedding

Afternoon Tea Themed Wedding... LOVE IT!  So 'in' right now, bring back the Britishness... this is also a great idea for Hen Party's.

To me Afternoon Tea is decadent, regal, relaxed and scrumptious.  It can also be vintage garden chic.  Parisian royalty or British street party.

If you decided to go for an Afternoon Tea theme wedding reception, you can hire great china from many wedding supplier these days (if your venue doesn't already have any you like)!  To add to the affect include lots of garden flowers, pastel colours, round tables with cushioned chairs (if possible)... maybe try an outside setting.

Hereford - Kentchurch House and more...

Did anyone see Channel 4's Country House Rescue last night?  I did, and was extra excited as Hereford is my home town and never new this beauty existed... I know that there is a school in Hereford name Lord Scudomore which I guess is named after the Scudamore family that own Kentchurch Court.

If like me you love a bit of history and beautiful architecture, why not take a trip and visit Kentchurch House and Garden's on one of it 'open' days... they are open for the Easter Break 22 - 25th April 2011 - with an Easter egg hunt for the children.

Find out when more dates are available at: http://www.kentchurchcourt.co.uk/

Whilst you are in the neighbourhood why not check out a couple of the other exciting parts of Hereford; which includes Hereford United, Mappa Mundi, Chain Library in the Cathedral, The Black and White House, Walking Festival, Cider Route... plus great medieval street, churches and much more!

GET THE LOOK - Eastern Wedding Theme

My brother's girlfriend (sister in law to be) has an Iranian back ground, and her mum is Jewish - so she comes with a lot of culture.  When I was in Brighton last I met them for lunch, we went to a great Iranian restaurant as they both love food from those regions, specially my brother!

This gave me a great idea for their wedding, when it finally happens...

Deep colours - red, purple, green and gold
Tents - with cushions and low tables, lanterns and candles
Henna, Turkish delight, heavy tea pots, shisha pipes, belly dancing and lots and lots of great food

Wedding Dresses - what I'm considering...

As many of you will know I have still not bought my wedding dress, and with the possibility of a venue and possible date change I am really considering my options...

My H2B and I have change how our wedding day is going to be, and now we have settled on a small 20 person wedding, and keeping the budget under £3.5K!

Since the budget is smaller this means I am down sizing my wedding dress budget from £1200 to under £500...  Here are a few of the options I am considering.

Anoushka G Stacey - £495 House of Fraser

Anoushka G Dorena - £395 House of Fraser

Coast  Mancini £220

Coast Angelique £495 (would prefer this without the feathers)

Coast Analee £135

Something a little different...

Anoushka G - Paula £390 from House of Fraser

D'Zage £560

Dessy 1031 £399

Also loving Maria Lucia Hohan wedding dresses!

April Fools Day!

We are well and truly into Spring now... hello April!

Wiki Says:   April Fools' Day is celebrated all around the world on the April 1 of every year. Sometimes referred to as All Fools' Day, April 1 is not a national holiday, but is widely recognized and celebrated as a day where many people play all kinds of jokes and foolishness. The day is marked by the commission of good humoured or funny jokes, hoaxes, and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, teachers, neighbors, work associates, etc.

Traditionally, in some countries such as New Zealand, Ireland, the UK, Australia, and South Africa, the jokes only last until noon, and someone who plays a trick after noon is called an "April Fool".[1]
Elsewhere, such as in France, Italy, South Korea, Japan, Russia, The Netherlands, Germany, Brazil, Canada, and the U.S., the jokes last all day. The earliest recorded association between April 1 and foolishness can be found in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (1392). Many writers suggest that the restoration of the January 1 as New Year's Day in the 16th century was responsible for the creation of the holiday, but this theory does not explain earlier references.

2011 April Fools Stories

BMW M3 ROYAL EDITION
To 'marque the occasion' of this year's royal wedding, BMW has announced they are creating a special edition of its BMW M3 Coupe. The M3 will be available in a choice of three colours – Regal Red, Bridal White and Imperial Blue. The interior will be upholstered in Windsor White Dakota leather and adorned with a commemorative 'Will' emblem.

Joe Kerre, BMW Junior Operations Kindle Executive at BMW’s Forschungs und Narren division in Munich said: “Given the Windsor’s German heritage, the BMW M3 Royal Edition should make for the ideal wedding gift.” Further details can be found by emailing Pauline.yorlegg@bmw.co.uk

PLAYMOBIL™ APPLE STORE PLAYSET (WATCH VIDEO HERE)
ThinkGeek seems to have caught a bad case of Apple fever as it has announced a PLAYMOBIL™ Apple Store Playset. This 'amazing' PLAYMOBIL™ set introduces children to the magic of Apple technology by enabling the user to interact with tiny iPhones, Macbooks and iPads in their very own shop.
The iStore includes figures and over 60 accessories as well as a Genius Bar. You can even use your iPhone 4 as the screen behind Steve Jobs in the Keynote Theatre. Even though this is aimed for children, how many fanboys would relish the chance to be an Apple employee or even CEO of the company?!

EDIBLE METRO NEWSPAPER
According to the Metro newspaper, "newsprint and food experts have combined to cook up a sweet-tasting paper that will soon be sugar-rolling off the Metro presses." The edible newspapers' printing process sees ingredients such as corn starch, vegetable oil, gum arabic, water and citric acid cooked into a stodgy paste and thin sheets.

Charles Bouquet, of the Edible Paper Company said: “We hope it adds flavour to the stories and presents readers with a colourful menu of current affairs.” Even celebrity chef and culinary scientist Heston Blumenthal has been involved in the process who described the project as "a little obsession of mine."

GET THE LOOK - Roller Disco Wedding

Taking inspiration from our favourite bride to be Kate Middleton, how about a little vintage cool, 70's Playboy Roller Disco themed wedding party!

If you wanted to, you could go as far as having the ceremony at the Roller Disco - roller skating vicar?

How about a little Whip It outfit ideas?  I love this film, it makes me feel like a teenager again, all excited about boys and love LOL.
