GET THE LOOK: Autumn Themed Wedding

As we are coming to the end of Autumn and thinking ahead for future Autumn weddings, which hopefully I'll have (that or early spring) - love the colours this time of year, the early sunsets, the snugly feeling, the need for candles and fire!  Creates a romantic image specially for someone's big day?

It's my Wedding and I'll Pin Board if I like!

Here is my 'pin board' with wedding ideas for when I finally get my big day, if it ever happens...

Small wedding ceremony September / October in Scotland for an autumn feel with just family

http://www.cringletie.com/ or http://www.kilconquharcastleweddings.co.uk/

Sit down buffet meal - like a family meal

Two dresses (cheap), one for the ceremony, one for the reception

Flowers / Decorations: Simple thistle and navy flower posy - lots of candles ad fairy lights for decoration

Bridesmaid / guest can wear what they like - we want a smart casual feel

Groom - to wear a blazer and jeans as shown here in my previous post: http://yourweddingsupport.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/and-groom-wore-jeans.html

Invites - fun wedding invite with a picture of us being silly!

NO photographer (guests need to grab their mobiles) / no car / no gifts / no seating plan - no hassle!

Party with friends 'reception'

Big party back near our home in a local pub for all friends who didn't get invited to the wedding ceremony, put some money behind the bar and put of a spit roast - have a great, fun, relaxed evening that should save our guest money and the un-comfortableness that comes with being a wedding guest most the time!

and the Groom wore JEANS!

Does your H2B not fancy a a suit for his big day, or you are both feeling a little more casual BIG day... how about the groom and his men wear jeans with a nice shirt and blazer/waistcoat combo?

A little more comfortable for him, bring the whole mood to a more 'fun' level, better suited to smaller weddings?

Here are a few ways to make the best of this look... and not just like a cowboy ;-)

Duchray Castle - Highland Wedding Venue

Last week the boyf and I stayed for the week at Duchray Castle a beautiful Scottish Castle with lots of local history, we stayed in the 'Honeymoon Suite' which Rob Roy McGregor once escaped the English from!

Currently the castle has 4 double rooms - sleeping 8, with the hopes to expand and add a few extra rooms.

Duchray Castle is set in the middle of Queen Elizabeth Forest, surrounded by trees, rivers and wildlife.  There is no phone connect at the castle and wifi is intermittent creating a peaceful escape from the real world.

They also host weddings at the Castle - you get the Castle for private use from the day before to the morning after the wedding (e.g. Friday afternoon to Sunday morning) for £3500 + VAT, catering / decorations and everything else are on top.

Frances the hostess has experience in Events Management and can assist with all the planning.  The Castle's dinning room seats up to 50/60 people and you can get married at the Castle in 3 of the splendid rooms!

GET THE LOOK: Made in Chelsea Themed Wedding

Following on from yesterday post on #TOWIE, here is the competition Made in Chelsea #MIC!  Think rich, understated, expensive and bottle upon bottles of champagne.

Mark Francis should definitely be inspiration for your wedding...

GET THE LOOK: #TOWIE Themed Wedding

Much to my boyfriends dismay I am a 'reality' TV fan, in particular The Only Way is Essex and Made in Chelsea, occasionally the Real Housewives.  So if you are keeping up to date with Joey Essex and Sam's on / off relationship and can't get enough here are a few ideas for a #TOWIE themed Wedding.

Big, bold, boobs and bling!  Essex style.

GET THE LOOK: Robin Hood Themed Wedding

The last of my boyfriend suggest wedding themes... Think Kevin Costner rather than Disney, woods, lots of flowers, dancing, merriness and big buffet style family eating!

GET THE LOOK: Oriental Themed Wedding

To be honest this theme isn't very specific, but picks out the main flavours from many oriental country Weddings.  Lots of Red, fans, bamboo, cherry blossom and romantic lighting.  Some brides might even consider a tradition dress for the marriage ceremony and a white wedding dress for the reception (or visa versa).
